ACCESSIBILITY
Accessibility Statement
GSCC is working to provide a website that can be used by people with a broad range of abilities, devices and assistive technologies.
Accessibility approach
The site is being developed with semantic HTML, keyboard-operable navigation, visible focus indicators, responsive reflow, descriptive labels, form validation and contrast-conscious styling. The implementation is being reviewed with WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the working accessibility benchmark.
Keyboard and navigation
Pages provide a skip-to-content link and navigation controls intended to work without a mouse. Interactive elements should expose a visible focus state and meaningful accessible name.
Forms
Business and career forms use visible labels, fieldsets, required-field indicators and status messaging. Validation should identify fields requiring correction without relying on color alone.
Responsive content
Layouts are designed to reflow across desktop, tablet and mobile widths. GSCC reviews responsive behavior including zoom, text scaling, horizontal overflow and touch-target usability as part of ongoing website quality assurance.
Testing and known limitations
Automated and manual accessibility review is part of GSCC's ongoing website quality process. Third-party components may have accessibility behavior controlled partly by their provider. Material accessibility issues identified through testing or feedback are evaluated for correction or appropriate mitigation.
Accessibility feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, use the GSCC contact page and identify the page, feature and problem encountered so the issue can be evaluated.
Accessibility approach: WCAG 2.2 Level AA is GSCC's working accessibility benchmark. This statement describes a design and testing target and is not a certification that every page or third-party component is free of accessibility barriers.
